BetaFPV ELRS Micro TX Module 2.4GHz
What the hell is ELRS?
ELRS or Express Long Range System is a new radio control link for your quad, plane, or RC vehicle. The goal is to give you a better and more consistent signal with lower latency and longer range. ELRS is open source so it's less expensive than other options.
It comes in two frequency flavours; 2.4GHZ and 900MHz. We plump for the 2.4 version as its been tested to 30km of range at 100mW and its a wider band, making it better at playing with others.
ELRS is configurable via a LUA script on your radio and you can even update the firmware over wi-fi (or USB-C).
On the back panel you'll fine a XT30 connector to hook up and external battery (to to 4S) if you don't want to power it from your radio.
These modules are the standard JR size but we also stock Lite / Nano versions of ELRS transmitters from a range of brands. These are compatible with radio transmitters like the Frsky Taranis X9D, the TBS Mambo and the RadioMaster TX16S).
So to put it in one sentence: You get a long range, high speed, solid RC link that works with most radios and has loads of cool features for not much cash. No brainer! Just look how excited it gets Joshua Bardwell in the video below!
So now you know all that, you'll appreciate just how special these modules from BetaFPV are. You're getting all the ELRS goodness like regular updates with innovative new feature AND you're getting BetaFPV's build quality.
This modules comes in two flavours: the light side, all white 500mW version and the evil Sith Lord, black version kicking out a galaxy spanning 1W of power. And to really confuse the metaphor they both have internal LED lighting to give that Iron Man arc reactor look when powered.
Both have an XT30 connector around the back so you can power this externally and save your transmitter battery and a USB-C port for easy firmware updates.
