The 'Halo RC Nemesis V2' has arrived, and HaloRC's most popular frame just got a whole lot better. This awesome race frame has many different configurations, with the ability to modify and create the TPU mounts to suit almost every component choice.
HaloRC have taken all the suggestions (...and complaints) about the V1 and spent over a year redeveloping the Nemesis into the ultimate FPV race frame.
The TPU camera mount has been designed to take most of the current sizes of micro FPV cameras and lenses.
By using the 2 mounting holes you can adjust the position of the FPV camera to provide the best protection while keeping the TPU out of view.
The vertical plates are held in place be the top, middle and bottom plates to help distribute the impact forces better without breaking the carbon.
As standard, the Nemesis V2 comes with wide 4mm thick arms that are designed for running separate ESC's. However, the skinny 5mm thick Nimrod arms can be swapped out and used for running a 4 in 1 ESC.
We treat the arms and the way they connect as the chassis of the frame, and this is the major part that affects flight characteristics and durability.
Our tried and tested design splits the arms where they meet each other, rather than them meeting in the centre of the frame. Inspired by the monocoque chassis of formula one car, this design distributes the impact forces throughout the whole frame to reduce stress and protect the components within.
The latest revision of this arm connection method now only requires you to remove one bolt and loosen the second to remove and replace an arm when it breaks.
The Nemesis V2 top plate has been designed for running top mounted battery horizontal (toilet tank style) and there are slots for fitting a LiPo strap and a hole for running the LiPo lead up to the battery.
HaloRC have developed a range of TPU mounts for all the various direct to VTx style antennas such as the Lumenier Axii and VAS Minion, along with a standard SMA mount that works for both the TBS Unify connector and the standard one.
The extra slots and holes should be enough for mounting components and RX antenna's with zip ties.
