Joshua Bardwell has created a brilliant series of videos to teach newcomers how to fly a miniquad in rate mode (i.e without the training wheels of self-leveling modes).
There's a lot of get though but it's really worth doing the homework he gives you with each episode.
You can even get started before you've built your quad as he uses the free simulator FPV Freerider as the teaching tool.
It even works with Xbox, PS3 and Logitech gamepads, FrSky Taranis, Spektrum, Flysky, Walkera, Graupner and Futaba RC radios.
So what are you waiting for? Get some stick time in without stacking your shiny new quad into the ground!
